Vueling is a Spanish low-cost airline based at El Prat with hubs in Barcelona-El Prat Airport and Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport in Rome. There are an additional thirteen bases at A Coruna, Alicante, Amsterdam, Bilbao, Brussels, Florence, Madrid, Malaga, Palma de Mallorca, Paris-Orly, Santiago de Compostela, Seville and Valencia, with an added summer seasonal base in Ibiza. Vueling is the second-largest airline in Spain behind Iberia and serves over 100 destination in Africa, Asia and Europe.

Wizz Air is a Hungarian low-cost airline that was founded in 2004. Wizz Air has its head office at the Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport. The airline usually uses secondary airports serving many cities across Europe as well as Azerbaijan, Egypt, Israel, Turkey and the U.A.E. Even though it is not a flag carrier it has the largest fleet of any Hungarian airline which serves 97 destinations in 35 countries currently.

WOW air is a low-cost carrier based in Iceland. It was founded in 2011 and commenced services in 2012 and since then it has doubled in size. It operates out of Keflavik International Airport and serves 20 different destinations in Europe and the USA. It describes itself as "the airline with the biggest smile and lowest prices".
