Founded in 1967, Air Mauritius is the flag carrier of Mauritius. The airlines has its headquarters at the Air Mauritius Centre in Port Louis, Mauritius. Its main hub is Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (SSR). Air Mauritius is the 4th largest carrier in Sub-Saharan Africa and is important in the European, African and Indian Ocean region markets. In 2011 the airline won the Indian Ocean Leading Airline Prize for the 7th consecutive year. Air Mauritius flies to 20 destinations with a fleet size of 12. In 2014 it was reported that Air Mauritius profits were 7.331 million euros.
