Iberia is the flag carrier and the largest airline in Spain. It operates internationally from its main bases of Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport and Barcelona El Prat Airport. Iberia Group airlines fly to over 102 destinations in 39 countries. In December 2014, Iberia announced that they would be operating 13 new routes in the European market. Passengers can now book flights from Madrid to Hamburg, Funchal, Florence, Naples, Palermo, Catania, Manchester, Edinburgh and Budapest. The airline also announced direct flights to Asturias-Tenerife, London Gatwick and Paris Charles de Gaulle.
