Etihad Airways, after Emirates, is the second largest airline of the United Arab Emirates and fourth largest in the Middle East. Eithad began operation in November 2003 and takes its name from the Arabic word for "union". The airline operates over 1000 flights a week to over 96 destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia and the Americas. The main hub of Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi International Airport. The comnpany slogan is " From Abu Dhabi to the World. The World is Our Home, You Are Our Guest. Ethihad carried over 11 million passengers in 2013.
