Very nice place, we had some lovely walks in the area, and enjoyed the sunshine. It probably suits older people, it's not exactly party friendly.
Not the best for nightlife in Cyprus, I'd say if you're looking to party all night, Ayia Napa's the best place, but Protaras was pretty nice, good for couples or families I think. Everyone speaks English, it's easy to get around. Great choice for a holiday.
