Didn't think it could get quieter! It's a lovely place, but way too quiet, it's really just a village with a couple of bars and restaurants etc. The beach is good for small children I think, very sandy and the water is clear and quite warm.
Very cheap and cheerful. A bit nicer than Funchal, and locals are very friendly. Would recommend.
