I’m absolutely in love with Rethymnon. The scenic town centre with its cobbled streets and fuchsia flowers made me go back every day. The locals are very friendly and the food was amazing. I stayed just outside the town and I could also reach the nearby beach on foot. I’ll definitely go back.

Air conditioning costs 4€,per day, payable only in cash. As we arrived after midnight at Chania, Holiday Autos charge a late arrival fee of 24€, payable in cash only. Please make your clients aware of this as it could cause problems. We also feel that it is important to raise the air conditioning situation to clients. If you arrive after 10 pm, you won't be able to get ac sorted until the next morning. The all inclusive bar, only serves weak lager, on tap rose or white wine, soft fizzy drinks, raki, ouzo and brandy. Very limited and the bar closes at 11pm sharp. Also, there is no sea view and the artists impression of the hotel is misleading. There is no pool side bar open and high trees grow all around the pool. The staff where delightful. The excursion company they use is superb. All together, a very very good choice.

We like a more relaxed atmosphere. although the town is very nice, it's too busy, and there's basically a stirp of restaurants, all quite pricey.

Loads going on. plenty of restaurants and bars as well well as supermarkets. You'll find pretty much anything you need there.

Crete is an excellent holiday, the whole island is beautiful. We've been before but this was our first time here. THe town is big and there are lots of tavernas and some nice historical sites to visit. Very nice to walk around the harbour too.
