A great place to relax. Portimao is a bit shabby, but has good facilities, e.g. supermarket and shopping centre. Close to a gold course too, very good quality. More suited to couples who want to chill out.
Great place, as with the golf courses nearby, hubby could go out and play while I relaxed by the pool. A fairly quiet area, which suited us well.
We stayed in a nice apartment very close to the centre. Good location close to the beaches, and near to the shops etc. Plenty of nice bars and restaurants around for good food at fairly decent prices.
