Our opinion about Koukounaries
The local beach "Chrisi Ammos" meaning Golden Sand is just as idyllic as it sounds and you'll fall in love with cheap Koukounaries holidays. Picture perfect crystal clear water, lapping along the length of this long beach edged by pine trees. Sounds blissful, doesn’t it? Behind there you will find a little surprise in the form of a lagoon. Fantastic resort, great selection of shops and restaurants. very nice beach, close to the town so there's lots to see and do.
Great value for money. There's a decent selection of restaurants nearby that are worth going to, but it's nice and quiet too.
But nice enough all the same. Don't go expecting major partying, couple of tavernas, a nice beach. that's about it.
