Our opinion about Kololi
The beach at Kololi is one of our most popular resorts and it’s easy to see why. The relaxed atmosphere is perfect for soaking up the sunshine, there’s plenty of water sports available and if you’re into it, golf courses nearby to get a few rounds in. The beach bars and restaurants offer tropical cocktails and fresh fruit and the magnificent river Gambia nearby gives you the chance to get up, close and personal with exotic animals. Amazing country, i loved every minute. Really great value, yes there are lots of hassling people, but just a firm now tents to do the job. The food was superb and a trip to the countryside in a 4 x 4 is a must. Amaizing nature everywhere.
Excellent options for trips, safari, markets,crocodile pool,all well worth a visit. Watch out for people trying to hassle you, it happens everywhere. Gambias a beautiful country, but very poor, poverty in many places which is really hard to deal with.
