Our opinion about Evora
Evora’s home to a wealth of historic sites, in fact, there are so many that the whole town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With Roman temples and ancient monuments, it’s one for the history buffs. Of course, the fact that it’s boardered by the Algarve and picturesque Tagus River are just another couple of reasons to go. A good place to explore for a couple of days but not to spend a whole week there.
Evora is a compact, but relaxed city, with beautiful narrow streets and wonderful parks. A welcome escape from busy Lisbon. The cathedral provdes a great photo opportunity.
