Our opinion about Denia
Halfway between Alicante and Valencia sits the popular town of Denia. This historic area is the ultimate in relaxation and its beaches are certainly a main attraction. Choose between sandy, rocky and the harbour area. The nearby mountain makes for a spectacular hike, thanks to its huge nature reserve, while the historic old town centre is ideal for any budding photographers. A lovely historic town, nice to visit for a daytrip.
Perfect to use as a base, it’s close to Valencia, and to Benidorm and Alicante. Very nice weather, lovely people, great restaurants, would be happy to go back.
The beaches are clean and the town is really lovely to walk around, it’s handy for travelling around the whole region too, there are good connections to Valencia, and Benidorm... Actually I’d recommend Benidorm too for a cheeky night out!!
