Ankara

You have to visit the Ataturk Mausoleum, incredible museum and signs both in English and Turkish. Well worth seeing and actually was quite an emotional place to visit too. A great holiday if you have an interest in history. Stayed at the Holiday Inn, which turned out really well, well placed, with good air conditioning and decent sized rooms. I prob wouldn't visit Ankara again though - purely because i think i've seen most of it now.

The city is really old fashioned but that made it extra charming for is. Very pleasant fish restuarnts right along the river and we tried out a few of them!! It's unspoilt and the weather was great but if it's a beach you're after - you certainly won't find it here.
