Our opinion about S’Algar

The closest resort to the airport, you’d be forgiven for feeling a bit smug with your quick arrival to the sunshine.

The village has a handful of restaurants and bars with a focus on family friendly menus and atmosphere. Continuing the theme the nearby beach at Cala Alcaufar is a top choice for youngsters thanks to its reputation for safety. Beyond the beach, there’s horse riding, tennis and games on offer.

Public transport links from S’Algar are top notch too, so it’s a great base for discovering the culture and history of the laidback island. The local market too is a feast for the eyes, with the best in fresh fruit and vegetables on offer.
