Our opinion about Nevada
More than just the bright lights and non stop slot machines of Vegas, Nevada is an enormous state, stretching from desert to city, glitz and glam to cowboy country.
Las Vegas is of course a highlight and it would be a shame to visit America’s 7th largest state without soaking up that riot of colour or even getting hitched in a little white chapel of love. Beyond the city lights, the landscape is teeming with stunning natural beauty from the Red Rock Canyon to the Bonneville Salt Flats, and over 90,000 acres of wild countryside of the Ruby Mountains or Great Basin National Park. Lake Tahoe is a big tourist attraction too. With the Sierra Nevada mountains serving as a backdrop, it has 18 ski resorts and activities ranging from cycling and gold to white knuckle white water rafting.
