Our opinion about El Cotillo

A traditional fishing village, El Cotillo is a top choice for complete relaxation. The sandy beach is made for sunbathing, while the calm waters are a safe choice for all the family to paddle in. There is a healthy choice of water sports too, with kitesurfing, windsurfing or diving available.

In the evening, the locally-run bars and restaurants have a variety of eating and drinking options, many with English speaking staff that will go out of their way to help you find exactly what you need. People watching is a great pastime in the village, as fisherman pull up their daily catch and sell it straight to the table of local restaurants.
