Our opinion about Ciutadella

The former capital of the island, Ciutadella has buckets of charm, fistfuls of history, a gorgeous beach and an excellent range of hotels or apartments to suit any budget.

On the west side of the island, the medieval architecture offers a unique visitor experience, with Moorish buildings, informative museums and winding streets that house every kind of cafe, restaurant or bar.

The spectacular beaches are a big draw too, with perfect powder soft sand, transparent waters and plenty of facilities. There are busy beaches near the town offering water sports and plenty of facilities, while a drive a little outside the area reveals unspoilt, quiet beaches that make the perfect secluded getaway.
