Our opinion about Bratislava

A firm favourite for a city break, Bratislava boasts a great selection of hotels or apartments, delicious eateries  and great bars and some of the most breathtaking sights in Slovakia.
Start a day’s exploring by visiting St Martin’s Cathedral or Bratislava Castle. Stroll up the hill to the Slavin Monument, which overlooks the city, or simply wander through the small streets dotted by cafes and souvenir shops. There are plenty of museums as well that are great for all the family, from the the Natural Science Museum to the Jewish Community Museum.
A good evening in Brastilava is usually spent in delight with some local cuisine. Give the bryndzove halusky (sheep’s cheese with meat) a try, or settle in for some schnitzel or goulash. Of course there are plenty of modern restaurants serving other gastronomic delights and even a Tesco for a self catering option.
