It's fair to say Zurich is beautiful. The city is quite old looking and is lovely to walk around. We spent an afternoon by Lake Zurich which was lovely - but a bit strange. Essentially it's a park beside the water so it's a bit weird to see everyone walking around in their bikinis. I would certainly recommend it, except that it is the most expensive city i've ever visited. Everything is pricey - restaurants, bars, mcdonalds!! So be warned!
