Definitely stay in resort, it’s a shock to the system if you leave. The areas around are very poor. If you can get past that you’ll have a great holiday.
Stayed in resort so couldn’t really say much about the place on the whole. It was pleasant, not exactly the dream holiday but we enjoyed all the same. Hotel was basic enough, staff were friendly though.
