Much better than we expected, very friendly atmosphere. Keep an eye on the taxis, but otherwise a really great trip. Lots to see and do, very historic.
We were a bit sceptical about our trip to Sofia but we couldn’t have enjoyed it anymore. I don’t think there are many Brits who go, but it really is lovely. The city has acres of history and plenty to see and do, you’d need a few days to get to everything. There are plenty of maps/information supplied for visitors and a friendly atmosphere. Most people I think are delighted to have tourists visiting.
