Ouranoupolis was very beautiful. It’s very traditional and we enjoyed shopping in the small shops selling artifact and amulets, as next to the resort you’ll find the famous monasteries of Agion Oros. We visited the nearby beach every day and we also rented a car for a few days tpo explore the superb surroundings.
My partner and me and our 6 and 8 year olds stayed in Ouranoupolis for a week, it was well worth it. Views were amazing and the beach was beautiful. A lovely say. I would advise you rent a car and check out Thessaloniki too.
