I actually ended up spending a few weeks here every year. Love the place.
Not really quite a beach resort, more of a working traditional Greek town. it's close to other resorts and easy enough to travel around a little bit. Lesvos is a beautiful island, well worth going to. It's quieter than some of the others i've been to in the past.
Had never even heard of Lesvos before we went on a last minute trip last year. Was very pleasantly surprised. Lots of sunshine, lovely beaches and a couple of nice museums. A great trip.
