Location

Malinska has very warm and sunny summers with over 90 sunny days per year. Bura, the Croatian name for the strong winds that come from the northeast, are not felt on this part of the island; the climate in Malinska is mild making Malinska an ideal place for health tourism. The bridge to the mainland and the airport are both nearby (about 15 km away), making Malinska an easily accessible location and a popular tourist destination for over 100 years!

Otok Krk is an island connected to mainland Croatia by Krčki Most, an approximately 1,5 kilometer long bridge. The island is filled with beautiful sites and symbols indicating its rich and long history. Seven cities on the island were once protected by fortresses, the remains of which still exist today. Pearls of the past have been preserved in stones in Glagolitic script—an alphabet dating back to the 9th century. Some monuments on the island date back thousands of years!
