Virgin Atlantic is a British Airline, headquartered in Crawley, England. Established in 1984, the plan was originally that the airline would fly between London and the Falkland Islands. It commenced operations in 1984 with an inaugural flight from Gatwick to Newartk Liberty International Airport. It’s main operating bases are Gatwick Airport, London Heathrow Airport and Manchester Airport. Virgin Atlantic serves 30 destinations worldwide and in terms of passenger volume is the seventh-largest in the UK.
