Delta airlines being a major American airline operates over 5,400 flights daily with a network that includes 333 destinations in 64 countries on six continents. Delta operates from ten domestic hubs in the U.S. and from three international hubs which are Amsterdam, Paris and Tokyo. Delta is also a founding member of the SkyTeam alliance , operating joint ventures with Air France-KLM, Alitalia, Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Australia. In 2013, Delta Air Liens was the world’s largest airline in terms of scheduled passengers carried (120.6 million). Delta is the sixth-oldest operating airline by foundation date and the oldest to be still operating in the United States.
