Of course most people book holidays to Spain for the fantastic variety of beaches but there's way more to visit than just beaches if you want to venture further afield. You can't beat the spectacular volcanic peaks of the Canary Islands. If you're going to Tenerife, you won't want to miss the opportunity to visit Spain's highest mountain by taking a cable car that takes you to the top of Mount Teide. In Lanzarote, go to Timanfaya National Park to see bubbling lava fields. Not as nice as Malaga
I went to a new resort in Spain last year, in the Canaries, and I have to say it wasn't half as nice as when I went my previous trips which were always to Benalmadena. I'll be booking my trip back there this year. Marie
